I bought this mic from another website and was a little worried since most of the reviews are for the Blue Snowball, not the Ice version. The ice version works great, I was using an X12 headset and wanted just a mic without the headset part. Most mics I found were really cheap but this one seemed to do what I wanted. I am able to sit about 2 feet from the mic and people can still hear me clearly. The mic does pick up some room noise, such as my dogs collar jingling. I am very satisified with the mic and would recomend it to others. This mic does not have the buttons on it that the non ice version has, but I haven't found any problem with that.
